Social Impact at scale

NSW Vigil Collective

Domestic and Family Violence

Advocacy

Lou’s Place is a daytime drop-in centre located in Redfern offering free safety, support, essentials and community for women across Sydney.

We worked with Lou’s Place and the NSW Vigil Collective to capture their 2025 ‘No More Empty Shoes’ Vigil, capturing developing conversations about the growing problem of Domestic and Family Violence in Australia.

Chair, Lou's Place

Joel and the team at Logrunner were exceptional to work with. They captured the heart of our Unite Against Violence: No More Empty Shoes campaign for the NSW Vigil Collective and Lou’s Place with incredible sensitivity, professionalism and care.

Their calm, informed approach made interviewing the public on such a difficult subject about Domestic and Family Violence feel natural and respectful, and the final films perfectly reflected the spirit of both our tribute and our advocacy.

The quality of the final films, both the short and long version, was outstanding. They beautifully captured the emotion, purpose and impact of the event without ever losing sight of the people at its heart.

They were incredibly easy to work with, offered excellent value, and were a seamless presence throughout the day. 'We wouldn't hesitate to work with Logrunner again and highly recommend them.
